ENSCO, Inc. Restructures and Expands Businesses

Falls Church, Va., January 4, 2012 – ENSCO, Inc. announced today that it has initiated the corporate restructuring of several of its key businesses and international activities. This restructuring will allow these businesses to increase their concentration within their distinct market areas and better manage corporate liability.

Greg Young, ENSCO's President and CEO, stated, "We are excited about this important realignment within the company to bring better focus and attention to these critical business areas. This allows us to reduce distractions and provide even better customer service, build company branding and offer a higher level of quality development and service to our growing base of customers."

To enhance its avionics development, products and services business, ENSCO has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, ENSCO Avionics, Inc., which is headquartered in Falls Church, Va. All current Avionics business supported through the Innovative Systems Solutions Division of ENSCO will migrate to this subsidiary.

To similarly benefit ENSCO’s worldwide, rail engineering products and services business, the company has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, ENSCO Rail, Inc., which is also headquartered in Falls Church. All current Applied Technology and Engineering Division commercial business will migrate to this subsidiary, along with ENSCO’s current international security products and service offerings within the MicroSearch® product line. The migration will initiate with Track Inspection Services and MicroSearch.

Earlier this year, the company expanded its North American presence into the Canadian market by opening a new office in Montreal, Québec, Canada. This expansion is a direct result of the company’s growing relationships with leading aerospace companies in the greater Montreal area. To better serve and engage within this important marketplace, the company has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, ENSCO Avionics Canada, Inc. that will provide engineering, products and services to the broad base of aerospace customers, both government and commercial, in Québec as well as throughout Canada.
