Vehicle Tracking and Passenger Information Management System

Provides passengers and railroad personnel with train status and location information with TrainSTAT®. Relays train positioning to cell phones, wireless messaging and computers. Predicts time of arrival at waypoints.

TrainSTAT® is a complete Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) system for trains. Using GPS, wireless messaging, and GIS maps, trains are tracked via their location at waypoints, which can be displayed on public or private websites. Customers can view arrivals in real time on public websites such as the message boards on platforms, or can have the information sent to mobile devices like cell phones. Private sites allow railroad personnel valuable access to track scheduling and train management.
